A team project to develope a car interior system suitable for kids. I was co leading a team of 5 members with my co leader Nitisha SHINDE, Product designer.

During the extensive reaserch phase we tried to study the behaviour and habits of kids in India. We also derieved a user and studied his needs and routines and also how the travel affects the kids.

Hence we derived an interior system divided into two zones; Parents zone & Kids zone. The zones were seperated to avoid disturbance to the driver from the kids. In the process we also developed an intuitive safety solution for kids, since kids always avoid wearing seat belts in India. We developed a vest system instead of the seat belt, that includes a costume of the kids favourite charachter. This would encourage the kids to wear his vest and also keep him protected.
